Crown Construction of Oregon was especially proud of the awards for Interior Design. The only builder in the show that did their own design work without the aid of a professional Interior Designer.
Crown Construction of Oregon also took great pride in the award for Architectural Design. They started with a Mark Stewart design and reconfigured the floor plan to create a loft-type interior with a professional galley kitchen, swivel table on wheels, his and hers separate bathrooms, cable railed cat walk and large office.
In 2006 the Home Builder's Association of Portland appointed Margie Tucker as the chairperson for the new scattered site show "The Ultimate Open House".
